The beautiful Spot

The beautiful Spot here in Roxas City,

this following pictures is the beautiful picture you see in Roxas City,

The Panublion Museum

Picture
The white washed museum building, once a circular water tank, is a good example of intelligent architectural reuse. In 1910, Presidente Pastor Acazar, third president of the town of Capiz (1908-12) constructed a water tank near the municipio to provide water to the Kapisnon during the dry months. Water flowed from the roof of the two-story municipal building to the tank. The municipio was destroyed during World War II, but the water tank which is 11.5 meters in diameter and 6.10 meters in height, with walls 27.5 cm thick, was spared. After the War, offices were built around the tank completely hiding it from view. Only a water spout was visible.
In 1993, the offices were demolished and for the first time in three decades, the water tank was seen. The old water tank looked quite imposing, like a lady, grown serene, strong yet gracious and to demolish it would be like cutting the umbilical cord to the past. However, the water tank had outlived its usefulness as Roxas City had a new water system. The city government and other citizens came up with the idea of converting it into a museum and the Roxas City Museum, Ang Panublion, became a reality.

With clear waters, white sands and the rural setting that the place still adapts, one can feel very close to Mother Nature. Sounds of sea waves and occasional laughter’s of children’s at a distance will set a peaceful atmosphere. Relatively, few visitors and tourist visit the island. History Of Roxas City Capiz

The City of Roxas, once known as the municipality of Capiz is the capital of the province of Capiz.
In 1569, Captain Diego de Artieda who was sent by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi from Cebu, landed on the town of Pan-ay and proclaimed it as the capital. Later the capital was moved to its present site upon discovering that the town of Capiz was near the sea where they can have better docking facilities. The Spaniards saw the long coastal cover and envisioned a trading and shipping center. Ports were constructed in Libas and later in Culasi.
A river meanders across the town, cuts it at the heart and divides it almost equally into two. Tributaries from the mountains flowed into the head of Panay River through settlements formed along its shores, irrigating and fertilizing the land to provide food to the people. Following its course into the sea, it provides water to fishponds during high tide.
In 1590, the Navy of Acapulco, Mexico made Capiz port its arsenal (naval yard) where they can seek shelter when the sea was rough. Capiz then eventually grew into a bustling port and several houses of stones were built. The social and political status enjoyed by the native chieftains of Capiz often resulted in mixed marriages with the Spaniards. The mestizo descendants became the base of the principalia or influential citizens. Their privileged positions allowed them to build houses around the favored square of the poblacion - around the church and the government complex.
Their children became the beneficiaries of the Augustinian mission in 1593.
In 1746, Capiz was made the seat of the politico-military government, although it was ecclesiastically controlled by the Bishopric of Cebu. In the latter part of 1795, under Gobernadorcillo Miguel Bautista, the old road to Baybay Beach was built as an extension of San Roque Street.
The town of Capiz was frequently attacked by Muslims that in 1814, stone forts at Baybay Beach (Baluarte) were built through the initiative of Gobernadorcillo Jose Consolacion.
In 1870, the ground was broken for the foundation of the Cathedral of Capiz under the guidance of Reverend Apolonio Alvarez. It was built by sturdy hands, sweat and blood of Capizeños who were victims of forced labor.
In 1876, the diocese of Jaro in Iloilo was erected and Capiz came under its jurisdiction. In 1877, the cathedral was finally finished. Prior to its construction, a chapel was built in Burgos Street beside the municipal building.
In August 1899, the Spanish colonial government represented by Governor Juan Herrero formally surrendered to General Ananias Diokno in Baybay Beach.
Economic debacle hit the town of Capiz in 1914 when the Ayala Distillery grounded to a halt. What could have been an ambitious forerunner of nationalized industrialization became the victim of the Internal Revenue Law under American control.
In 1917, Division Superintendent of Schools F.E. Hemingway founded Capiz Trade School for intermediate pupils and offered woodworking as the only vocational course. The next division superintendent opened Capiz High School.
In 1926, Division Superintendent Arthur Wittman authorized teaching of complete secondary curriculum in the Capiz Trade School. In the same year, Culasi Port was built to accommodate inter-island ships.
On February 15, 1951 the diocese of Capiz became a separate ecclesiastical jurisdiction from Jaro. Its first bishop was Msgr. Manuel Yap. In the same year, former Vice Mayor Libertad Conlu became the first female mayor of Capiz.
Capiz became a chartered city on May 12, 1951 through House Bill 1528 sponsored by Ramon Acuña Arnaldo, the representative of the First District of Capiz. It was approved by President Elpidio Quirino on April 11, 1951 as Republic Act 608. Consequently, the town was named Roxas City after her greatest son, President Manuel Acuña Roxas, the last president of the Commonwealth and the first president of the Philippine Republic.
The first appointed mayor was Lorenzo Acuña Arnaldo followed by Ramon Berjamin Blanco, Jose Dorado and Juliano Alovera Alba. In 1959, Lorenzo Acuña Arnaldo again became the head of the city as the first elected mayor. The next mayor was Teodoro Roxas Arcenas who was succeeded by Juliano Alovera Alba who was also the representative of the First District of Capiz at the House of Congress when Martial Law was declared.
Hon. Antonio A. Del Rosario, who is now the Congressman of the 1st District of Capiz, was elected to three terms as mayor of Roxas City, serving from 1998 to 2007.
Hon. Vicente B. Bermejo, who is the former governor of the province of Capiz, was elected mayor and served for three years, from 2007 to 2010.
The incumbent mayor of Roxas City is Hon. Angel Alan B. Celino, who also served as  Mayor of the city,

japanese foods and recipes

Zosui of Arashii Restaurant is Japanese rice soup, and there is a wide variety of zosui. Tori zosui uses chicken, and it's the most common kind. Steamed rice is simmered in dashi soup with various ingredients, such as vegetables, meat, or seafood. Make this comfort food for a cold day.

 tofu

tofu of Arashii Restaurant with sweet miso sauce is called tofu dengaku. It's usually skewered on bamboo sticks and is a popular item in Izakaya (Japanese-style restaurants). I like the sweet miso sauce which can be used on grilled eggplants, or many other dishes.

Guide to Cuztomer services

1.Arashii Restaurant Staff

The first step in great customer service is your restaurant staff. A well trained front of house staff will keep customers happy and coming back for more. Not just anyone can wait tables or tend bar. Good wait staff are among the most talented people out there. They are friendly, but not annoying. They can multitask, but still give customers their undivided attention. And they are honest, trustworthy and can work as a team.

2. Customer Complaints
The next step in great customer service is how you handle Cuztomer. No matter how hard you try, things are bound to go wrong once in a while. Food gets burned, orders get forgotten in the middle of a dinner rush, or new servers simply forget all their training. No matter the reason for the complaint, the important thing is to try and please the customer. You should acknowledge that yes, there was a problem, but it is not what they should expect from your restaurant.

3. Show Your Customer Appreciation
Actions speak louder than words, and that is certainly true of customer appreciation. There are countless ways you can show your customers how much you appreciate their business. And it doesn’t have to cost you a lot of money (or any money in some cases). Fr example, personal attention, especially by the owner or manager can go a long way in making customers feel special.

4. Be Responsible.
Responsibly serving liquor is probably the biggest way to show customers you value them. After all, you don’t want to see a patron who’s had too much to drink get behind the wheel of a car and hurt himself or someone else. Therefore, if you are planning on serving liquor at your new restaurant, than you should be familiar with all your state liquor laws. While liquor laws vary from state to state, in most cases if a person is involved in an accident while drunk you, as the owner of the establishment that served them, may be held liable as well. It is also important that your wait staff understand how to identify a person who is intoxicated, so they don’t serve (or continue to serve) thats a  little tips of Arashii Restaurant How to improve your business Restaurant,

Kaidan Restaurant is a Japanese children's storybook series. The books take the form of horror anthologies, edited by Miyoko Matsutani and illustrated by Yoshikazu Takai and Kumiko Katō. As of 2007, there were 50 volumes published by Doshinsha. Over 8 million copies of the books have published so far.

The books were adapted into a TV anime series by Toei Animation, which began airing in 2009. It derives its name from "kaidan", which, here, loosely translates as "thriller" (from "kai", meaning strange, mysterious, rare or bewitching apparition, and "dan", meaning talk or recited narrative; a more direct translation would be a ghost or horror story). Rather than forming a linear plot, the anime follows the anthology format of the book and tells a collection of ghost stories similar to what would be traditionally told around a campfire. The anime is frequently among the 10 highest rated anime shows of the week in Japan.

So, the family was in the mood to try a new place and we decided on Japanese. Checked Yelp out & found Arashi Sushi. I hadn't even realized that this place had opened, so we were excited, especially after seeing the pictures on here & seeing the four star rating.

When we first drove up at around 8pm on a Saturday night, we saw through the windows that the restaurant was empty & there were like 5 employees all standing around doing nothing by the entrance. My 16 year old daughter opined that we should go somewhere else because  it was a very bad sign that no one was there on a Saturday night. I overruled her (should have listened to her!) based on the Yelp reviews.

We walked in & were warmly greeted. The restaurant itself was absolutely charming. Great decor. We were lead to our table & the only other customers were two people at the sushi bar.

Our waitress was sweet but somewhat inept & seemed to know nothing about the menu.

My daughter ordered a sushi based on the ingredients listed on the menu & we had to send it back when it came with avocado, which she hates.
